Women empowerment refers to ensuring equal rights, opportunities, and representation for women across social, economic, and political spheres. As half of the world’s population, women possess immense potential and talent, making their empowerment essential for the holistic development of any society or nation. Despite this, many women continue to face significant barriers such as discrimination, violence, limited access to education and healthcare, and exclusion from decision-making processes. Empowering women and girls involves making them aware of their rights, encouraging them to value themselves, and helping them confidently access the opportunities available to them. Equally important is the promotion of self-defense—not just as a physical skill, but as a mindset rooted in self-worth and the belief that every individual deserves safety and respect. Self-defense plays a vital role in personal safety and contributes to building safer communities. With this understanding, the trust has conducted several activities aimed at raising awareness among women and girls, emphasizing the importance of education, self-respect, and informed decision-making, including the organization of pre-marital workshops and guidance programs.
